Hewlett Packard Enterprise is working with communication service providers such as Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and others to evolve into what they refer to as digital service providers. These companies are changing their entire business model to integrate this change. Rather than just simply giving you the communication services you pay for. CSP are looking to give you more options and control over the services you purchase.
The goal of HPE is to provide CSPs the power to use customer data and intelligence, such as location, usage, and spending data to improve the customer experience and increase loyalty. The goal is to give the customer a personalized experience and plan. It will also allow them to optimize connectivity across devices and services.
So to put this in perspective, let’s say you have a business and you pay Verizon for your internet. You have the option of two plans basic, and premium. You find that the basic internet speed is not good enough for your business. So you upgrade to premium, but it’s a lot more expensive than you would like. With Verizon now using more intelligence, they can increase our speed to greater than the basic plan, but you don’t have to fully upgrade if your usage doesn’t justify it. Basically, you pay for the amount of service that fits your needs specifically.
It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on and hopefully, it can grant people the best service for them for the right prices.
