We have served public sector agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, transportation authorities and nonprofits since 1986.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to information collected through this website and through communications you send us in response to it.

It does not cover information we process on behalf of a client under a services agreement, contract vehicle or purchase order. When we handle data inside a client environment, we act at that client's direction and their agreement governs, together with any regulatory obligations that apply to it.

It also does not cover websites we link to, including our e-store, manufacturer sites and social media platforms. Those services publish their own privacy policies.

When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, request pricing, or contact us by email or phone, we may collect:

If you receive marketing email from us, every message includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to be removed at any time by writing to sales@compu-link.com. We will continue to send transactional messages relating to an active quote, order or engagement.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterwards where required to meet legal, tax, audit, contractual or public procurement record-keeping obligations. Retention periods attached to government contracts can be lengthy, and where those apply we follow them.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and reasonable safeguards consistent with the New York SHIELD Act.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission you make to us is at your own risk.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict certain processing, or request a copy in a portable format.

This website is intended for business and institutional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where we support K-12 institutions under contract, student data is handled under that institution's agreement and applicable education privacy law, not under this policy.

Our website links to third-party sites, including our e-store and manufacturer pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
