Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
Compulink Technologies, Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.compu-link.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are
Compulink Technologies, Inc. is a minority-owned information technology solutions provider headquartered at 260 W. 39th Street, Suite 302, New York, NY 10018. We have served public sector agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, transportation authorities and nonprofits since 1986.
For any question about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at sales@compu-link.com or (212) 695-5465.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to information collected through this website and through communications you send us in response to it.
It does not cover information we process on behalf of a client under a services agreement, contract vehicle or purchase order. When we handle data inside a client environment, we act at that client's direction and their agreement governs, together with any regulatory obligations that apply to it.
It also does not cover websites we link to, including our e-store, manufacturer sites and social media platforms. Those services publish their own privacy policies.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, request pricing, or contact us by email or phone, we may collect:
- Your name and job title
- Your organization or agency name
- Business email address and telephone number
- The content of your enquiry, including any technical or procurement requirements you describe
- Any other information you choose to include in your message
We ask that you do not send sensitive personal information, protected health information, student records, or confidential agency data through website forms. Those channels are not intended for it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit, which may include IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to keep the site working, understand which content is useful, and protect against misuse.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and measure general usage patterns. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.
[CONFIRM] This section should list the specific cookies actually set, including any set by the site platform, embedded forms, or analytics. A cookie audit of the live site is needed before publishing, and a cookie banner may be required depending on the visitor jurisdictions you accept.
4. How we use your information
We use information collected through this website to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes or pricing
- Provide the products, services and support you request
- Communicate with you about an active or prospective engagement
- Send you information about our services, where you have asked to receive it or where permitted by law
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the website
- Meet legal, regulatory, contractual and reporting obligations, including those attached to government contracts and supplier diversity programs
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who support our operations, including website hosting, email delivery, and customer relationship management. They may process information only on our instructions.
- Manufacturers and distributors, where fulfilling your quote or order requires it. This is generally limited to what is needed to price, configure or ship a solution.
- Professional advisers such as auditors, accountants and legal counsel.
- Government bodies or authorities, where we are required to disclose by law, regulation, legal process, or the terms of a public contract.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets.
6. Email communications
If you receive marketing email from us, every message includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to be removed at any time by writing to sales@compu-link.com. We will continue to send transactional messages relating to an active quote, order or engagement.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterwards where required to meet legal, tax, audit, contractual or public procurement record-keeping obligations. Retention periods attached to government contracts can be lengthy, and where those apply we follow them.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and reasonable safeguards consistent with the New York SHIELD Act.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission you make to us is at your own risk.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict certain processing, or request a copy in a portable format.
To make a request, contact sales@compu-link.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
[CONFIRM] If Compulink serves California residents at or above the CCPA thresholds, or visitors in the EU or UK, this section needs jurisdiction-specific detail and response timelines added by counsel. The general wording above is a placeholder for that.
10. Children
This website is intended for business and institutional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we support K-12 institutions under contract, student data is handled under that institution's agreement and applicable education privacy law, not under this policy.
11. Links to other sites
Our website links to third-party sites, including our e-store and manufacturer pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
12. Accessibility
We work to keep this website usable for visitors with disabilities. If you encounter a barrier, contact us at (212) 695-5465 or sales@compu-link.com and we will help you access the information you need.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
